Good Personal Protection Dogs share these qualities:
- High sociability -- these dogs are happy to greet strangers and friends alike;
- Biddability -- she is eager to work with you, and brings a positive attitude to her training sessions;
- Stability -- Squealing babies are born to be kissed, revolving doors are a fun new puzzle, and elevators
are old hat;
- Drive -- He is excited by the 'game' of protection no matter how intense it gets;
- Trust -- If you say Uncle Jeff is just a doofus, then she believes you and doesn't take his teasing personally.
We all have an Uncle Jeff in our lives, don't we...? and
- Courage -- An intangible quality that allows a dog (and us) to keep a cool head under pressure and
perform with grace and power.

Then again, some of us can't pull off 'intelligence' every day.... |
